Our Three Priorities in Working With District Partners
Prioritize Local Context
School districts and school leaders are most knowledgeable as to the context in which they work. BlueScope prioritizes supporting the local challenges and opportunities of each organization we work with.
While working with Mass Insight, we conducted district and school readiness assessments to build a strong understanding of the district’s current state prior to implementing any new initiatives or engaging in planning.
Build Capacity
BlueScope Group seeks to build the capacity of our clients over the course of the project to ensure the work of continuous improvement is able to continue once the project is complete.
While managing the System of Great Schools Network, we took multiple steps to ensure district staff were building their knowledge and capacity by including appropriate leaders at all levels of our work. Additionally, we provided executive advisors to coach leadership.
Ensure Sustainability
Through prioritizing local context and building capacity, BlueScope works to ensure that all changes implemented will be sustainable for school districts in the long-term.
While conducting program evaluations in multiple Louisiana districts, we created a self-evaluation tool as a part of the process to ensure the districts would be left with the ability to more regularly evaluate their own implementation progress.
