Duncan is the founder of DFK Advising, a firm specializing in supporting districts to develop high-quality school partnerships to ensure that all students have access to their best-fit learning environment. Previously, Duncan served as superintendent of Spring Branch Independent School District in Houston, Texas for over ten years. Duncan’s experience in education includes time spent as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal, and area superintendent. Following his time in public education, Duncan served as the Director of Education for the Kinder Foundation. Duncan is also currently a clinical assistant professor at University of Houston and holds an EdD from Seton Hall University.
